“Why We Go” was filmed in Ukraine. It is a look at The Survivor Mitzvah Project in action – bringing direct and continuous financial aid to elderly survivors of the Holocaust in Eastern Europe. It shows our humanitarian trip to Ukraine that brought friendship to these last survivors of the Shoah. We let them know they have not been forgotten. We go because they are strangers, but they are members of our family. With your help, we can continue to visit the Holocaust survivors giving them the financial aid they so desperately need. Together we can write a more hopeful final chapter to the Holocaust, one of friendship, love and kindness. – Zane Buzby.
